BIOGRAPHY

Having spent nearly a decade and a half performing, teaching, and composing music, Jeff Henderson has built a reputation as a qualified musician in several respected circles across the United States. With backgrounds in jazz, sacred, classical, big band, bluegrass, and several other genres of music, Jeff continues to expand his artistic expertise with each new piece he writes. Jeff has had his compositions and arrangements performed by ensembles such as the Temple Band, Amherst Town Band, Hollis Town Band, and Nashua Chamber Orchestra, the Pensacola Civic Band, The Sanctuary Orchestra of First Baptist Church of Pensacola, and solo artists such as Emmet Cahill, Achilles Liarmakopoulos, and Angela Draghicescu. Jeff recently had his piece "First in Flight" premiered by the New York City Brass Choir.

Jeff has performed on trumpet since the age of 14, and has performed in a variety of ensembles, including the Temple Town Band of New Hampshire, the Pensacola Christian College Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Band, and the First Baptist Church of Pensacola Sanctuary Orchestra, the Panama City Cymphony, and a variety of recording sessions. Jeff currently lives in Pensacola, FL, with his wife Julie, who often joins him in the premieres of his works and in playing with various ensembles.
